THE BOMBAY CATHOLIC SABHA CONDEMNS THE TERROR ATTACKS IN MUMBAI. URGES GOVERNMENT TO TAKE BOLD AND EFFECTIVE STEPS TO CONTAIN TERROR ATTACKS. CALLS UPON CIVIL SOCIETY TO BE VIGILANT. SALUTES THE BRAVE POLICE OFFICERS / POLICE PERSONNEL WHO DIED IN THE LINE OF DUTY. CONDOLES THE FAMILIES OF THE BEREAVED AND PRAYS FOR QUICK RECOVERY OF THE INJURED AND SAFE RELEASE OF HOSTAGES.

The Bombay Catholic Sabha [BCS] has no words to express at the devastation and loss of innocents lives at the the hands of the terrorists who are doing their best to disturb the peace and unity of our motherland.

BCS urges the civil society to step in to ensure that such elements do not get another opportunity to terrorize and divide the polity for their own nefarious ends . Civil society will need to work towards a greater unity and understanding between various communities .

We also urge the Government to also take a bold stand to stem this rot and ensure that the citizens can exist peacefully.

On our part the BCS will extend all possible assistance to achieve these objectives.
