Dear Sabhaites and Friends.

RE: ALL RELIGION MEMORIAL SERVICE ON CHRISTMAS DAY, DECEMBER 25 AT 6.00 P.M. AT GATEWAY OF INDIA, COLABA IN HONOUR OF THOSE WHO  LOST  THEIR LIVES IN THE 26/11 TERROR ATTACKS IN MUMBAI.

The Bombay  Catholic Sabha  in association with other NGO's / Citizens Groups have organised an All Religion  Memorial Service on Christmas Day,  December 25 at 6.00 p.m. at the Gateway of India, Colaba.

The Memorial Service is to commemorate in honour of all those who  lost their lives in the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai including  the brave Policemen, Army Commandos and  Citizens.  This day also completes 30 days after the painful terror attack on the city of Mumbai.

This service will also recall to mind all the citizens who have lost their lives  and their homes destroyed either by terrorists or fascist forces in different parts of the Country during the year 2007-2008.

We urge the citizens to participate as   a mark of respect and solidarity for the departed citizens.

In line with the appeal made by Cardinal Oswald Gracias, the Archbishop of Bombay and the Patron of the Sabha, we appeal to the Christian community to shun ostentious external celebrations and have a subdued and low key Christmas festivities with prayers for peace and violence free environment  in our city and our nation. We also urge citizens  to donate generously to those suffering owing to this unwarranted violence and have limited means at their disposal. More details you could log  on to : www.bcsabha.org

WE SEEK THE COOPERATION OF THE MEDIA TO SUPPORT THIS EVENT.

Best Regards,

Dolphy D'souza
