Protest Letters for RTI Language

Re: Protest Letter for RTI Language.

We are attaching two letters of protest against the directives of the Mun. Commissioner to his subordinates to provide replies under RTI only in Marathi language.

They have been sent to :--

1. Mun. Commissioner - Mr Jairaj Phatak. B M C Head Office, Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai - 1.

2. Chief Secretary, Mantralaya, Mumbai 32.

3. Chief Minister, Mantralaya, Mumbai 32.

4. Prime Minister, Govt. of India, New Dehli - 110001.

5. Mrs Sonia R Gandhi, Chairman of U P A, 10, Jan Path, New Delhi - 110001.

6. Mr Suresh Pachauri, Minister for Personnel and Public Grievances, Govt. of India, New Delhi - 110001.

7. Deputy Secretary (RTI), General Administration Dept., Mantralaya, Mumbai - 32.

8. State Information Commission, 13th Floor, New Administrative Bldg., Mantralaya, Mumbai - 32.

We request all Units and Individuals , if you too feel that we are entitled to replies in English (or Hindi or any regional language of our choice), to kindly write similar protest letters to the above and spread the word to others too.
