I am happy to know that the Bombay Catholic Sabha is organizing its Sabha Day on Sunday, April 27, 2008.


I take this occasion to express my joy and gratitude for all the initiatives undertaken over years so as to enable the laity to be conscious of their vocation and mission in the Church and in the world.


I congratulate Mr. Dolphy D'Souza, President, the Office bearers and members of the Bombay Catholic Sabha for their dedication, commitment and involvement in the issues of education, social action, health, women and young adults of our Society. My prayerful wish is that the members of the Bombay Catholic Sabha, in the words of their Vision Mission Statement, may strive to be "Committed to a better tomorrow, Today!"
